Hi, Joe --

Please note that the feature point names and locations in Annex B are only
suggested/recommended. You can verify this by looking at the title of the
Annex where it states that this is an "Informative" annex. If the names were
to be required, the Annex would have been "Normative". This is also true of
the levels in Annex A. A user of H-Anim is free to do other things.

I used the standard feature point names listed in the specification as a
start. The typical xyz locations are given in the VRML examples included in
the h-anim standard. I added some in between points in order to  fill in
some points for simple triangules. In some areas, like face we need more
points.

The idea is that we specify 'standard' feature point names and 'tyupical'
locations.

Of course the feature point locations will vary depending upon the
dimensions of the character being modelled.

Yes, just like the locations of the joints and length of segments is
adjusted for the actual human, the feature points are named locations that
may be varied depending upon the character being created.
