<P>These are the minutes of today's Korea Chapter meeting.<BR>If there is anything missing, please add comments as necessary. </P>

<P>Don emphasized implementation and open source for each proposal at this meeting. <BR>Below is the extract from the last meeting's minutes.</P>

<P>Don, please add any advice or recommendations if there are other things that<BR>we should do when progressing our proposals. </P>

<P>>Don added the following agenda item:<BR>><BR>>- Software implementations, both private and open source <BR>><BR>>News: <BR>>- The Xj3D open-source implementation in Java is now seeing a lot of activity. <BR>>PartDB, Virginia Tech (VT), and NPS are all <BR>>working on merging codebases with the Xj3D trunk. This is an <BR>>important opportunity for possible implementations to support <BR>>proposals produced by the Korea chapter. We encourage other <BR>>Korean participants to communicate with Hyokwang Lee of PartDB <BR>>and consider working with this group.</P>
<P><BR>>1. 3D Environmental Information Systems Standardization Workshop<BR>><BR>>Date: November 16, 10:30 - 13:00<BR>>Place: Seoul Palace Hotel (<A href="http://www.seoulpalace.co.kr/eng/">http://www.seoulpalace.co.kr/eng/</A>), Seoul, Korea<BR>><BR>>Everyone is welcome to present and discuss proposals for SC24 standardization.</P>
<P>Several proposals concerning management systems standardization for CCTV <BR>and security devices will be discussed. <BR>We also anticipate that new proposals will be submitted. </P>

<P>>2. Web3D Meeting<BR>><BR>>Date: November 16, 14:00 - 17:30 <BR>>Place: Seoul Palace Hotel, Seoul Korea<BR>><BR>>Everyone is welcome to present and discuss proposals for Web3D standardization.</P>
<P>Updates about all the proposals submitted through the Web3D meetings will be<BR>presented and discussed. <BR>We also anticipate that new proposals will be submitted. <BR> </P>
<P>>3. ISO/IEC JTC1 SC24 WG9 Kickoff Meeting <BR>><BR>>Date: November 17, 10:30 - 17:30<BR>>Place: Seoul Palace Hotel, Seoul Korea<BR>><BR>>Gerard sent the Call for Partipation to the SC24 Secretary, David Hyde, BSI. <BR>>He will distribute the Call for Participation to SC24 National Bodies.<BR>>All members who are not SC24 delegates may attend the meeting as observers. </P>
<P>The SC24 Korean national body, KATS (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards) <BR>will distribute Logistics information for the meeting to SC24 national bodies. <BR>The meeting is supported by KATS. <BR>At this meeting, we hope to prepare a new work item proposal for next year's SC24 meeting. </P>
