<P>>The Korea Chapter meeting will be held with agenda items as follows:<BR>> <BR>> 1. Web3D Standards Meeting at SIGGRAPH 2012<BR>><BR>>Date/Time: August 7 (Tuesday) 2-5pm <BR>>Place: To Be Determined (a BOF room or the International Theatre)<BR>><BR>>Program:<BR>><BR>>Session 1: VR/AR/MR standardization<BR>>Session 2: Humanoid Animation standardization<BR>>Session 3: CAD Data standardization<BR>>Session 4: e-Learning standardization<BR>> <BR>>We invite Web3D professionals to participate and discuss standardization items in these areas.<BR>><BR>>Deadline for standards proposals submission (Title and Astraction): June 30, 2012.</P>
<P><BR>Anita will contact SIGGRAPH about the usage of the International Theatre and to finalize the meeting place.<BR>At each session, we will present and discuss two or three proposals.<BR>We will discuss new proposals as well as further enhancements to previous proposals.</P>
<P>Call for proposals will be announced soon with submission guidelines.<BR>Although there hasn¡¯t yet been much discussion about submission guidelines, the following is an option:.</P>
<P>- P-members (Web3D professional members) can submit and present a standards proposal.<BR>- O-members (non Web3D professional members) can attend the standards meeting, but are not qualified to submit proposals.</P>
<P>These guidelines will be discussed at the next meeting. </P>
<P><BR>>2. Review of the minutes of the last AR WG meeting (Gun Lee) </P>
<P> </P>
<P>Gun explained details about the minutes of the last AR WG meeting. <BR>At this meeting, there were discussions comparing three proposals on the AR WG wiki.<BR>Examples and implementation were again emphasized for standardization.<BR>Necessity of use cases were also discussed. <BR>Movie texture and movie camera concepts and implementations were discussed.</P>
<P>There were questions and discussions about the activity of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 24/WG 9 in relation to the Web3D AR WG.<BR>WG 9 is progressing the standardization of an AR/MR reference model.<BR>Cooperation between the Web3D AR WG and ISO WG 9 is needed because there are some concerns about duplicate content of standardization items.<BR>WG 9 is well aware of the fact that they should not standardize duplicate items in relation to Web3D AR.<BR>I think both WG 9 and Web3D AR WG can progress different roles in AR standardization without duplication. </P>
