we adopted the syntax and form for the various spatial reference frames
as first defined in GeoVRML

this is a good point but hard to implement in the X3D schema design
unless we go to multiple-namespace support, which so far we have avoided
because it would place another burden on implementers and not add any
new functionality.

so it is worth keeping in mind, but probably better implemented in
converters to/from GML.
