Congrats Holger, great news! Thanks for all your hard work.

Wanted to let you know that I have finally been able to begin efforts to add Cobweb support to X3D-Edit.

The tricky part here is modifying X3dToX3dom.xslt stylesheet to support Cobweb or X3DOM alternatively.

This has me looking very closely at attributes on the X3D element that gets embedded in the web page.

There are multiple possibilities for these attributes: X3D v3.3 support, X3D v4.0 new attributes, X3DOM-specific attributes and Cobweb-specific attributes.

Hopefully this testing and experimentation will eventually lead to good consensus on what new attributes go into X3D v4, while allowing continued experimentation.

First questions for you - looks like the Cobweb X3D url field loads a scene into the player. Wondering:
- do you also allow contained X3D XML content within the HTML page, i.e. a full scene?
- do you expect the url field can contain different X3D encodings, or just .x3d XML?
