[X3D-Public] got X3D in PowerPoint?

some years ago we prepared a writeup on how to get the Cortona
activeX client for VRML working inside powerpoint.

wondering if there is documentation for installing modern X3D plugins
within PowerPoint?

references or revisions welcome, the X3D Resources page is maintained
in version control.
