Great work John!

The initial loading time on my ADSL line took about 45s, the next about 5!

I've been out of the X3D scene for a while (too much work on other
projects), but this is what could get me going again!

Is there a page explaining what you did to speed up the process?

Where should I go to get up to speed again (applet tutorial, how-to,
download)?

Is this page up to date:
http://www.xj3d.org/tutorials/applet_with_anchor.html ?

What profiles does this version of the applet support?

Keep up the good work!

I modified the applet so that it loads faster. The initial loading of the
Xj3DApplet should be up to 3 times faster in the following demos. After the
initial loading of the applet, subsequent applet startup times should be
under 10 seconds depending on the speed of your computer.
