[X3D-Public] range of the field types

Hello forum,


I am trying get the maximum and minimum value of the SFFloat field type. I
am trying to create a GUI editor and that editor will contain this maximum
and minimum value. The specification says that

"Implementation of these fields is targeted at the double precision floating
point capabilities of processors. However, it is allowable to implement this
field using fixed point numbering provided at least 14 decimal digits of
precision are maintained and that exponents have range of at least [-12, 12]
for both positive and negative numbers."


How to put the minimum and maximum range to specific value ?


Any hint would be very valuable.
