[X3D-Public] x3dom inline node tag not working

Hello,
are there any x3dom experts here? If so, I have a problem to get the
inline node tag working. I'm using the latest version of x3dom and
tried the examples provided with the sources, but with no luck.
I tried the examples with the lates Minefield and Webkit builds and nothing.
Maybe it's a known bug? Can someone confirm it?
