Hi All,
I have some examples and sort of tutorials to show but first how about
me (re)introducing this set of links:
From
http://www.hypermultimedia.com/acontents.htm
go to X3D API here:
http://www.hypermultimedia.com/x3d/Quick/NodesIDLIndex.htm
then get to here for SAI Abstract Quick Reference and link to ISO
standard
http://www.hypermultimedia.com/x3d/Quick/SAIABSDEFS.htm
and to here for ecmascript interfaces and link to current ISO
standard.
http://www.hypermultimedia.com/x3d/Quick/SAIDEFS.htm
I think the idea of a quick reference is important so please feedback
any comments on the approach I have taken to provide this memory aid
that assumes some prior learning about the SAi has taken place, like
being somewhat familiar with the standard. Also, maybe comparison
between the abstract and ecmascript standards and what should be this
short extraction of the key info for the quick ref might help expose
inconsistencies or shortcomings.
btw, If you can understand the script example(s) in this wiki entry,
http://web3d.org/x3d/wiki/index.php/About_the_X3D/VRML_ROUTE_statement
I think you know practically everything about X3D Script node that you
need to know
but of course, there is much more.
Thanks to All and Best Regards,
Joe
and of course, the source, compl.lang.javascript

Well, at least for InstantReality there is the SAI-Javascript
documentation online:
http://www.instantreality.org/apidocs/scripting/javascript/index.html
Lists for every function/object if it is SAI or Avalon (=X3D layer if
instantReality) specific.
