Octaga Player 3 is a high performance, feature-rich, real-time 3D player that uses <http://www.web3d.org/?URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.web3d.org%2Fabout%2Foverview> X3D and modern graphics hardware to display advanced interactive 3D scenes. The new version offers several enhancements making it even faster, able to handle larger models, easier to use and includes several new features.
New features include: Improved capabilities for displaying multimedia content such as video, sound and images. The new statistics tools displays statistics on what is currently being rendered to help content creators optimize their models.

Octaga Exporter 3 is the perfect way for content creators to convert their 3D models and animations from 3D Studio Max into X3D/VRML and play these scenes in Octaga’s X3D Player. The built in VRML exporter in 3D Studio Max cannot compare to the new Octaga Exporter.

Octaga playback framework: The exported model will be embedded in a playback framework which is useful for testing animations.

Octaga sun simulator: The exported model will be embedded in a sun simulator framework which simulates the sunlight at a given location at a given date and time. This is very useful together with a shadow node to observe sun/shadow behavior.

System Requirement: Octaga Exporter is currently available for 3D Studio Max 2009 (32 and 64 bit) and 3D Studio Max 2010 (32 and 64 bit).

A free personal use version is available at: <http://www.web3d.org/?URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.octaga.com%2Findex.php%3Foption%3Dcom_content%26task%3Dview%26id%3D17%26Itemid%3D229> Player. A Full version is available for only 49 €.
