X3D:Delivering New Dimensions on the Web

August 7-9, Los Angeles Convention Center

At this year's  <http://www.siggraph.org/s2012/> SIGGRAPH 2012 in Los
Angeles CA, Aug 7-10, the largest annual conference for computer graphics,
the Web3D Consortium will showcase 3D on the Web.

>From Booth 234 you will find Web3D Consortium members Bitmanagement (
<http://www.bitmanagement.com> http://www.bitmanagement.com) and Fraunhofer
( <http://www.igd.fraunhofer.de> http://www.igd.fraunhofer.de) demonstrating
their industrial-strength 3D applications using X3D
<http://www.web3d.org/x3d> . 

The Web3D Consortium will also be sponsoring several events including
Birds-of-a-Feather and Town Hall meetings and a special 'Tech Talk' demo
session. Attendees will learn about the new X3D functionalities for
Extensible 3D (X3D) 3.3 as well as new collaborations for the delivery of
interactive 3D over the web.

Join the Web3D community at their Tech Talk  on Wednesday Aug 8 from 12:45
PM to 1:45 PM showcasing their incredible X3D innovations - you won't
believe it's real time 3D! This is a must-attend event to educate and engage
yourself in the latest 3D Web developments.

In addition to the Birds-of-a-Feather meetings the Consortium will have a
Town Hall Member Meeting on Tuesday from 3:30- 5:00 PM for developers and
industry leaders interested in using open standards and raise awareness and
interest in web-enabled 3D visualization.
