The NPS team is proud to announce a new release of X3D-Edit,
an open-source Extensible 3D (X3D) Graphics authoring tool for
simple error-free editing, authoring and validation of X3D scenes.

The most important new feature is support for the recent release of
Netbeans 7.2. X3D-Edit can run as a plugin within Netbeans or as an
independent application. Additional changes include ongoing rendering
improvements for the embedded Xj3D viewer. Authors can also launch
one or many external X3D players to confirm proper display everywhere.

Comments and feedback are welcome.

Netbeans is available at http://netbeans.org

Have fun with X3D!

all the best, Don
