[X3D-Public] 2D footprint with holes in X3D

Solution 1:
If working in something like Blender, select 2 opposite edges of the big rectangle and do Edge Split to subdivide the big rectangle, and drag the new edge to one side of your hole. Do the split 2 x 2 = 4 times for each hole, splitting the big rectangle into 9 faces. Then delete the face in the middle. When you export to X3D, that deleted face won't have indexes in the index list.
