[x3d-public] [x3d] X3D schema, DTD updates: new ClassicVRML encoding, inputOnly/outputOnly fields now complete

The latest X3DEdit doesn't work for me on Win64. It displays the splash screen, the progress runs all the way to "Done loading modules", then nothing happens. No main window or anything else. The process quietly dies.

I have the following Java version:

C:\>java -version
java version "1.8.0_45"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_45-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.45-b02, mixed mode)

If you enable the console, you see the following:

----

X3D-Edit for Extensible 3D (X3D) Graphics scenes
         https://savage.nps.edu/X3D-Edit

C:\Program Files\X3D-Edit>set MEMORYSETTINGS=-J-Xss2m -J-Xms32m -J-Xmx512m

C:\Program Files\X3D-Edit>x3dedit33\bin\x3dedit33.exe

The launcher has determined that the parent process has a console and will reuse
it for its own console output.
Closing the console will result in termination of the running program.
Use '--console suppress' to suppress console output.
Use '--console new' to create a separate console window.
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=256m; sup
port was removed in 8.0
C:\Program Files\X3D-Edit\" does not exist, or is not a plain file.

C:\Program Files\X3D-Edit>rem --console suppress

C:\Program Files\X3D-Edit>pause
Press any key to continue . . .
----
The only error message I can see is the one about "C:\Program Files\X3D-Edit\". It exists, it's not a file, it's a directory where X3DEdit is. It's not writable, not sure if that matters. Note the mismatched quote.
