Echoing: congratulations on this great work!

Am especially happy to see support for prototypes... Extensibility is the X in X3D so an author's ability to create new nodes is powerful and important.

If you and your team would like to make a short 15-minute presentation/demo + questions at one of our upcoming X3D Working Group meetings, that would be great. Every Wednesday at 0800 pacific, late afternoon/evening Europe.

Request: please look at outputs from the X3dToX3dom.xslt stylesheet. Upon first read of your announcement, it looks like a simple adaptation might allow support for Cobweb. There are several thousand X3DOM output scenes (filename.xhtml) linked in our open-source X3D Examples Archive; a number include prototypes as well. Your opinions would be most helpful.

Good luck with your continuing work.

This first release of Cobweb supports the full VRML2 standard as you are used from Titania. To implement this standard, especially Script nodes, Cobweb needs a HTML 5 conform and JavaScript ES 6 (Harmony) capable browser, currently only Firefox!!!
