John,

You are right, it is missing. I have run the style sheet converter on my local copy to generate the JSON file. I have attached it above. It passes Schema validation, but I have not inspected it further. Likely Don will make a more permanent fix, as he generally manages the examples.

Regards,

Roy

I’m looking for HudPrototype.json:

http://X3dGraphics.com/examples/X3dForWebAuthors/Chapter14-Prototypes/HudPrototype.json

There is an X3D and WRL file there. Perhaps the JSON didn’t translate? If there was a X3D file on sourceforge, I could gen up the JSON file. There is a HeadsUpDisplayPrototype.x3d file, but the HudPrototype.x3d is mentioned in the file below and likely other files (HudKelpForest.json, HudKelpForest.wrl) and the HudPrototype.x3d and HudPrototype.wrl are present on the website—I do think the two X3D protos are unrelated. Is there a fix, or can we include the JSON in the x3d resources json examples, and the x3d on sourceforge?

examples/X3dForWebAuthors/Chapter14-Prototypes/HudKelpForest.x3d: <ExternProtoDeclare name='HUD' url='"HudPrototype.x3d#HUD" "http://X3dGraphics.com/examples/X3dForWebAuthors/Chapter14-Prototypes/HudPrototype.x3d#HUD" "HudPrototype.wrl#HUD" "http://X3dGraphics.com/examples/X3dForWebAuthors/Chapter14-Prototypes/HudPrototype.wrl#HUD"'>

John
