Good question. Has it?

...
freewrl can do a bit of multitouch without changing any node interfaces:
- multitouch for navigation > 2 touches for ROLL
- drag 2+ separate dragsensors at the same time
A configuration of desktop freewrl has a multitouch emulator - so a single mouse can manage several 'touches' by clicking and dragging each one, creating and deleting touches with right-clicks - good for experimenting.
Sphere sensor could also do a roll without changing the current node interface, although not as well constrained as a special node for it.
If / when doing updates to touchsensors, could add LineSensor and PointSensor (both of which can be protod using trackpoint_changed, on planesensor but with degenerate effects when the plane is parallel to the view direction)

Btw, has multitouch been considered?
