Coderextreme/X3DJSAIL is now updated (well, fairly recently) with new shortened jar names, default JSON output and new Java 8 style Java code.

Subject: New Java Serializer exposed in X3DJSONLD. Compile JSON to Java forX3DJSAIL!

http://coderextreme.net/X3DJSONLD/ now provides a way to get Java from X3D JSON!  If you want sample Java code to run through X3DJSAIL, simply provide the X3D JSON, click “here” above the X3D JSON.  It’s as easy as that!  The Java code will be available in the lower left corner!  You can combine with https://github.com/coderextreme/X3DJSAIL (needs to be updated.  Volunteers?).

Note this is still experimental.  But it should get more people testing X3DJSAIL!  Also, there may be some X3DOM fields which won’t compile since they are not available in the OM4X3D!  I can add these if people specify the node, field and type they want.  The errors (class, style, id) will appear in the JavaScript console.

I am thinking about writing a DOM to X3D JSON serializer in Java script (as opposed to XSLT), but I’m not sure of the audience.  Anyone interested?

John
