The Puppeteers author's email nt at xyz23.freeserve.co.uk is not
registered anymore. Virtock Technologies was acquired by Media
Machines in 2005.

which has Flux 2.1 installers. Flux Studio is almost identical to
VizX3D but does not come with examples.

The license agreement which comes with Vizx3D does not specifically
address sample content other than for Starbase C3, see below. A status
of no explicit license given may mean all rights remain with the
original author, and the scene cannot be used for purposes other than
originally intended, although it may also mean that the
authorship/ownership cannot be completely determined and the content
is in the public domain.

The Starbase C3 content is clearly licensed. www.cube3.com is
active.The license allows non-commercial, personal use. Not sure if
the example archive would count as personal use.
