Given the obvious value of this model, am hoping we might post a cleaned-up version of the puppeteer scene in the X3D Example Archives, Basic, Humanoid Animation with credit to Adeniké Turner.

At a minimum we could annotate the model as "original model license unknown, further information welcome" in document metadata, perhaps also adding a warning that it is provided for educational purposes and no rights for commercial use are implied.

IANAL but CC0 Public Domain does not look appropriate since we don't have enough information to determine that.

Also wondering, is the midi file present?

    <AudioClip DEF='AClip_Sound1' pitch='1.000' loop='true' startTime='-1' url=' "honored.mid" '/>

A web search didn't reveal much, but did locate an interesting illustration credited to Adeniké Turner on the following page:

which in turn led to this page:

I left an inquiry there for Adeniké Turner, perhaps the artist is reachable for concurrence or open-source license.

"Hello. Am trying to reach Adeniké Turner regarding an X3D human-animation model called the Puppeteer created using the Vizx3D tool. The X3D community is hoping to share this wonderful example publicly, with appropriate credit, so that others might learn and benefit from it."

Thanks for the other inquiries as well Andreas. Hopefully we can retrieve this model from obscurity and provide appropriate credit in every relevant direction.

all the best, Don
