HI,

Thanks for pointing out this work. A little research shows that this was undertaken in connection with a European Commission project on “Artistic-Notation-based Software Engineering for Film, Animation and Computer Games”.

The paper Joe provided was presented at the Web3D 2008 conference. There was also a second paper published by the project team, presented at the Web3D 2010 conference. It was entitled “Storyboarding and pre-visualization with X3D”.

All the best,

Roy
