Its that time of year again -
a great time to join or renew your Membership and get involved!!


Members of the Consortium:

The nomination period for our 2018 elections has opened and will remain
open
      until March 11.
The current board membership in at http://www.web3d.org/about/board

Also information on roles of Board Members and Officers at
http://www.web3d.org/member/wiki/board-roles-and-responsibilities . This
page is a summary of Sections 5 and 6 of the Web3D Consortium By-Laws
available at http://www.web3d.org/sites/default/files/page/Join%20the%20W
eb3D%20Consortium/Web3D_By-Laws_2006-11-00.pdf .

As specified in the Consortium ByLaws at http://www.web3d.org/sites/def
ault/files/page/Join%20the%20Web3D%20Consortium/Web3D_By-Laws_2006-11-00.pdf,
the elected seats on the Board Of Directors are separately allocated among
Organizational Members and Professional Members. Organizational Members may
each make one nomination for election to a seat allocated for those
members. Professional members may submit nominations for the two seats
allocated to Professional members. Only Professional and Organizational
members of the Consortium may be nominees.
