confirming, yes thanks.  The junit5 harness is close but not quite there yet.  X3DJSAIL at least contains unit tests for regex defaults (obtained from X3DUOM).

Once junit5 is in place, given the importance of regex, will create a whole set of tests for each type.  we'll be able to add all manner of edge-case tests at that point without much muss or fuss, gaining long-term unit testing at the same time.
