I picked up the pieces from the Orthoviewpoint field of view discussion,and
tried to distill a coherent document describing issues and potential
solutions:

Note that the issues are prioritized with the hope of encouraging
resolution, even if incomplete.

The document can easily be edited which automatically produce another
version which can be reshared.
