[x3d-public] generators

Interesting. Is there such a thing as a quantum async/await functions? Promises are like a superposition (unknown), correct? I’m also looking for stochastic, chaotic and hyper async/await functions too. Got some good examples? Specifically, discrete chaotic functions/systems would be useful.

I’ll still call them generators, since that’s the more generic computer science term, i.e.: procedural generation, random data generator, test data generator, etc.

We need to dename yield and * to something else. Or deprecate them.

What use do you have for async/await in X3D?

So the await function runs on the quantum computer and async on the classical computer? Need to look it up again.

John

Good morning John,

Save yourself some headaches and skip directly to async/await functions,
generators were more like an intermediary step while async was being drafted.

See you,
