The HAnimJoint nodes that are used in this model (with skinCoordIndex and skinCoordWeigt values) must be added to the list of joints of the HAnimHumanoid to make this example work, see https://www.web3d.org/x3d/content/examples/Basic/HumanoidAnimation/BoxManIndex.html. X_ITE has no automatic traverse/determination of joints, but uses the joints from HAnimHumanoid provided.
Best regards,
Holger

that is just a straightforward V1 LOA3 hanim with skin but no other geometry except the axis markers (which actually show! Why not the ball?).
Why won’t the X_ITEX3D viewer run this? I have seen at least one comment on the code to do with texturing, but if the default player we use don’t have ‘skin’ in the game, then what else? Is there another player we could offer to choose from another, which I have seen run this thing. OK, maybe to much complaining but it is just really a Joe thing, especially since it is really the only skin and displacer example we show and I think about every other player out there will run this..
Having fun using hanim interactive skin,
Joe
