Hi Vince,

We had a brief exchange on gitter:

https://gitter.im/x3dom/LOBBY

https://gist.githack.com/andreasplesch/1709621326ec13282ea0204ca65c6301/raw/4eea3a4fe4faae83e312c72a233521db99b1fbbe/t1defuse.html

was a suggestion to convert the nested but simple PROTOs the VRML map
uses. But I did not get a response back then.

Anyways, might be helpful, -Andreas

It is "Originally a VRML map of arts/disability in U.K. East Midlands cities" dating back to when you would use plug-in to see VRML in a web browser; the goal is to get it working in X-ITE/X3DOM. The readme https://github.com/DaveEveritt/arts-infoscape/blob/master/readme.md <https://github.com/DaveEveritt/arts-infoscape/blob/master/readme.md> is pretty explanatory.
