Hi, Don --
Both pixel and voxel are defined in the SOED. However, the definition of pixel is problematical while the definition of voxel is clear and is as intended in the spec. Therefore, the term pixel does need a definition while the definition of voxel is as defined in the SOED and therefore does not need a definition.
