#4 GeoViewpoint > navigation - why do we need more navigation types?
Our default type isn't well articulated = it seems to refer to a walk
mode with speed a function of altitude - and depends on what browsers
have implemented on their own.
I checked googleEarth and cesium navigation modes and found the
dominant mode was
- ZOOM ground-facing
- PAN - in ground plane
- TURNTABLE around a ground-plane normal
I didn't see anything in our GeoViewpoint articulating those modes
--(GeoViewpoint includes navigationInfo ie GeoViewpoint : Viewpoint,
NavigationInfo0
If trying to harmonize conceptually with big geo viewers, these 3
seemed essential.
