John, the use of JSON Schema remains problematic.  Their last update was SEP 2019 and even then there was little (or no detectable) tool support.

The only interim work that might be worthwhile is matching a version that has a working validator.  Even then it is only a stopgap since they have been modifying each version.  And so once again, we seem stuck.

Fixing something that will remain broken does not seem like a good use of our time.
