Since you are asking for recommendations, not legal advice, I will offer the following:

The page you are referring to at https://doc.x3dom.org/tutorials/basics/hello/HelloX3DOM.html <https://doc.x3dom.org/tutorials/basics/hello/HelloX3DOM.html> is a very basic example, and I think you could author your own example, particularly with the help of the tutorials available at https://x3dom.org <https://x3dom.org/> As author, you would hold copyright on your example and could use it as you see fit. I think that would be your best option, since you are the author you can make your example more relevant to your intended audience; and it would increase your own expertise in X3D and X3DOM.

Fraunhofer does hold copyright on the X3DOM code, which is on github at https://github.com/x3dom/x3dom <https://github.com/x3dom/x3dom> . They also applied a license described at https://github.com/x3dom/x3dom/blob/master/LICENSE.md <https://github.com/x3dom/x3dom/blob/master/LICENSE.md> which grants you considerable freedom to copy and modify the code. You are able to download the X3DOM javascript code and use it to render your own X3DOM scene without permission from Fraunhofer.

When you want to show some examples of X3D and X3DOM renderings which others have created, my own preference is to simply link to the page on which they appear.
For example, I often refer to some CAD models produced by the Elphel Co. in Utah as examples of X3D; and when I do I just link to a page on their site: https://community.elphel.com/x3d2/index.html?animate&model=/x3d/x3d_model_files/x3d/MNC393-XCAM-ASSY.x3d <https://community.elphel.com/x3d2/index.html?animate&model=/x3d/x3d_model_files/x3d/MNC393-XCAM-ASSY.x3d>

Finally, and referring to your original question, if you want to capture a screenshot of the X3DOM page, or any webpage, and publish that screenshot in another medium you are getting into complicated legal questions that the readers of this mailing list might not be able to help with.
