<DIV>Hi</DIV>

<DIV> I would like to try to retrieve an x3d file from a server on the internet to an unsigned applet that I am developing. Normally the java applet security model, known as the <EM>sandbox</EM>, only lets applets connect to the webserver they were loaded from. They cannot connect to anywhere else unless they are signed. However, as oulined in the following article, it should now be possible to connect to an arbitrary server on the internet from an unsigned applet if that server contains a crossdomain.xml file.</DIV>

<DIV> I would like to test this out for my applet that I am working on and was wondering if someone with access to a server on the internet could upload a crossdomain.xml file and a simple X3D file such as RedSphereBlueBox.x3d and provide me with a link to the 2 files. </DIV>

<DIV>Attached are copies of crossdomain.xml and RedSphereBlueBox.x3d that I would like to be uploaded to a server.</DIV>

<DIV>Thanks in advance</DIV>
