Although we have not had an official release in a while, lots of coding is getting done by volunteers around the globe.
In fact, I have got it running on an iPhone right beside me, and am pondering moving my work-based dev platforms to the Android platform because of issues with the Apple IOS 4.3 and the ability to see wifi networks.
