<p dir="ltr">I took the next step in adopting the x3dom Siena Duomo example scene for WebVR. The scene has a nice animation for the viewpoint to tour the full length of the church. The VR scene now preserves the animation at about a third of the pace while still allowing for independent looking and moving of the head.</p>

<p dir="ltr">The experience in the HMD feels quite comfortable and distinct from the regular screen display.</p>
<p dir="ltr">It was natural to use a Transform around the viewpoint for the animation and the viewpoint itself be controlled by the HMD orientation and position.</p>
