perhaps first a “fake” repository on GitHub where we can track
issues, without a transfer of code from sourceforge? I suggest
an “official” issue tracker where we can attach source code
(have attachments been fixed in Mantis?) would be
desirable. Can we sign x3d-public email address up to
receive issue postings from GitHub? It’s fine with me if we
use my x3dpsail repository initially.</p>

<p>Please do not send GitHub postings to x3d-public. If it is used,
it will generate a lot of traffic that not everyone wants to see.
Many messages would be noise to people who cannot approve PRs or
otherwise deal administratively with the repo. People can register
their interests in issues individually or collectively. If you
need a mailing list for archival purposes, a separate one can be
created.</p>
