[X3D-Ecosystem] Overwhelm

Are people dependent on x3dvalidate to validate X_ITE material extensions?

I am on the way to deliver a new version, based on hyperjump-io, but I’d
like to know (privately, of course) if you would like to continue existing
reporting or move to a more compliant package that might have
incomprehensible errors. Obviously, you can use other tools, including
visual and web tools, which aid in understanding issues. You can always
keep an old version of x3dvalidate around.

I am getting overwhelmed by dependabot warnings from GitHub. Use of ajv
and other dependencies are being flagged. I don’t have the resources to
keep up with all the emails, but I will try to maintain main repositories
like X3DJSONLD and x3dvalidate.

Please be patient until I can allocate some time towards these
dependencies. Otherwise, you can probably rename node_modules and
package-lock.json as a backup, and do npm install.

I generally like to be patient for a few days in case other vulnerabilities
are found in the updated dependencies and I have to do a lot of rework.

Cheers,

John
