"Plug-in" is strictly a luxury feature in my opinion. You are welcome to
your opinion to the "plug-in" as a dominant important feature.
I am on the FreeWRL list too and watch as folks go into arcane contortions
when the FreeWRL plug-in gets broken on this or that linux platform.
What is needed to keep up with continually fixing that stuff -along with
with everything else is company of paid programmers.
>From what I have seen VRML/X3D doesn't seem to be able to pay for itself to
support such an infrastructure.
Show us the money Charles. Show us the money.
