[X3D-Public] X3D layering component examples, tooltip review

Am trying to follow the X3D layer (and layout) components to produce tooltip summaries, but the prose is a bit terse.

Looking for examples via search yields

	but no examples found in trunk, maybe i'm not searching in right place

Aaron Bergstrom (presumably) had some interesting work

where scene module.x3d uses FixedViewport vice Viewport node

Wondering if anyone knows of further resources that might be available for X3D layering (and layout) component support.  Examples are of especial interest.
