[X3D-Public] Clean Install of X3D-Edit

I've been having problems with my install of X3D-Edit.  I want to make a completely fresh install.   I delete all the files I can find and download a fresh zip file and unzip it.  But the new copy seems to have the same settings, and has opened up the same files as the old one.  Am I correct in assuming that there is some file I'm not removing that controls the current settings in a cookie-like manner?  If so, what is it's name, and where can it be found?
