New build released today, features include:
- upgraded to Netbeans 7.3 which includes updated support for
HTML5/Javascript
- tested with Java jdk1.7.0_15 which includes several recent security
patches
- a number of improvements to Xj3D (NPS branch and main trunk) for NURBS
handling by Vince Marchetti
Works both as a standalone application and a Netbeans plugin. Tested on
a variety of Windows and Mac systems. Please enjoy. Open source,
installable tool and Netbeans plugin modules available at
https://savage.nps.edu/X3D-Edit
The CAD working group expects to be done testing X3D NURBS examples with
X3D-Edit and Xj3D soon. We will then ask other X3D players to tighten
their conformance to match, some have problems with reversed order of
trimming surfaces etc.

As ever, feature requests and trouble reports welcome. Have fun with X3D!
all the best, Don
