Q1. Should/could there be a scene authoring access interface SAAI in future plans which would include ways to pick and select nodes, highlight nodes, expose flat tables of DEFs and routes?
Q2 should/could there be a builtin node type-authoring interface TAI which would go beyond protos to expose how builtin nodes are defined, so more type-sets can be defined and used in layered contexts such as vrml buildings in citygml, x3d in kml, collada inlines in x3d, and all bundled in .web3dz .zip files, in future plans?

Subject: [x3d-public] X3D Specification Relationships diagram update

Based on comments during today's X3D Working Group teleconference, I made some small modifications to the X3D Specification Relationships diagram.

- list file extensions for each encoding (.x3d .x3dv etc.)
- note latest version of X3D is v3.3
- light blue background box to show scope of where X3D v3.4 evolution is focused

Update attached.

Most recent version is maintained at
