[x3d-public] X3D Resources Examples. Basic/UniversalMediaMaterials images are monochrome - Xj3D bug

Thanks for reporting the problem.  The thumbnails and viewpoint snapshots are all rendered by Xj3D automatically in offline mode, when building the example archives.

The monochrome rendering is a bug in Xj3D that is associated with these particular examples, not sure why.  The same problem occurs when just looking at the scene.  Other players are OK.

If someone wants to troubleshoot Xj3D, that would be great.  All improvements are welcome.

The file does report that the pixel bit depth is 32. It appears that this is more of an image mask than a screen capture. Another reason for suspecting a mask is that the shinny examples (e.g., Metals or Glass) should have various light to dark regions due to reflectance and shadow. I do not see anything like that.
