Leipzig, 12th April 2017: New Versions of Titania and Cobweb are now 
released. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.



TITANIA

We just released Titania 3.0.1 for all Ubuntu flavours! This is the 
first release in the stable Titania 3.0 series. This is final the 
release for the current Ubuntu version 17.04 Zesty Zapus.

Highlights of this release

* New geometry tools
* Sculp tool
* Reworked »Open« and »Save« Dialog for the rich kind of X3D formats.
* Reworked geometry selection
* New Height Map editor for ElevationGrid and even GeoElevationGrid
* Support for 3DS file format
* Support for JSON encoding
* Support for open VRML1 files
* New command line support and file conversion support for Titania
* and a lot more

COBWEB

We finally released version 3.0 now. All fields derived from 
X3DArrayField have now two new functions »push« and »unshift« which 
operate like the corresponding JavaScript Array functions. All fields 
derived from X3DField have now a new function »equals« which makes it 
easy to compare two field values. The XMLParser was reworked and is now 
more secure and several issues are fixed. And last but not least we are 
proud to announce that prototypes do completely work now with XMTML DOM 
Integration.
