Thanks for the suggestion Andreas.  Makes sense to me.

Spec editors will need to review it, and we use Mantis for that... regular entry point is via spec feedback page.

If you might enter it there, that will be great.  Otherwise I can do it tonight.

Once put in Mantis and reviewed for disposition, then we can update draft X3D v4.0 Specifications in github.  These require Web3D Consortium Member access.

So it takes some time but things get sorted out correctly using this process.  (btw there is a burdensome path that is even longer and more undertain... getting something incorrect/confused and then having to fix it.)
