You must at least try to read some of this with a simple text editor.
Of course you will need to find an x3d tool that will play these.

I believe VRMLScript is close to ECMAScript and JavaScript (not sure of the differences). You may use JavaScript and ECMAScript with X3DOM and VRMLScript in X_ITE, JavaScript and ECMAScript outside X_TE code, I believe. YOU can also use VRML with X_TE, if you’re interested.  You can use JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) in X3DOM and X_ITE, similar to how you use XML.  You may use the ProtoExpander in X3DOM and JSON, if you wish, but not many embedded scripts work. X_ITE supports Protos. I believe this is with dev versions of X3DOM and production versions of X_TE.

Subject: [x3d-public] Beginner questions

Hi,
Just to add to all my Beginner Questions :) - I saw something called "VRML script" being talked about in my VRML book. Does this work in X3D?? ie. if I write code in this "scripting language", will it work in X3D (Firefox, in my case)...?

Thanks.
