ROUTE 2 for pure ECMAScript sounds smart John. Thanks for explaining the alternatives clearly.
If you can accomplish that, then in future we can always autogenerate the library completely via X3DUOM and directly match X3D4 interfaces without stress.
It will be wonderful to hook up Node.js via Ant for regression testing of your converting our thousands of X3D models.
Hmmm, if we have server-side APIs for Python Java and ECMAScript, can Big Data really be that far away?!
