Somehow, I think they used "discrete" math--what else can you do on
computers these days? Yes, I know about "form"ulas and symbolic processing.
If your tools don't show real reality, you're kind of stuck.  The question
becomes, does the LHC use computers to make measurements, or not? How do we
make non-digital measurements which show the same thing?  What ever
happened to tolerances?
