[x3d-public] Iconic encoding of HAnim? MovementWriting

Has anyone used MovementWriting (SignWriting, DanceWriting) in conjunction
with HAnim, X3D or VRML?   MovementWriting is a pictographic way of
describing human animation.   I could see this as an alternative to BVH.
MovementWriting dates back to the 70s at least, and SignWriting has been
standardized as the International SignWriting Alphabet (ISWA).  I think
they have spent some time converting their systems to SVG, if I recall
right.
