There was a glTF Webinar a ~week ago, on 28th October. If you missed
it, the full recording of it is now available:

I highly advise watching. I advise watching the whole thing, but if
you're short on time, watch at least the first ~17 minutes. It's the
presentation "glTF Fast Forward – An Update from the Khronos Working
Group" from Brent Scannell (Khronos 3D Formats Working Group Chair)
and it's a really good, condensed summary of what glTF working group
is/was working on, and what glTF extensions are important above the
core glTF 2.0 specification.
